1.Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Michael's church on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 11.30 am.
2. Baptism Team: In line with Diocesan recommendations it is hoped to have a Baptism team in the Parish. The team will help the local priest in helping the parents prepare for the joyful celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism for their child. In the meantime we are appealing for volunteers who will take part in a short Training Programme. From 2025 it is planned that Baptisms will take place in St. Michael`s church on one (or perhaps two) weekends each month. Or perhaps parents may wish to have the Baptism take place during one of the weekend Masses which will be very welcome.
If you are willing to become part of the Baptism team contact Fr. Padraig or any member of the Parish Pastoral Council.

Towards a closer union of the dioceses of Achonry and Elphin: Meetings will be held for members of Parish Pastoral Councils, Parish Finance Councils and any other interested parishioners during September and October. It is our hope that these meetings will help us identify the questions that need to be addressed and how we might approach them constructively as we work together towards a closer union.
Monday 16th September – Percy French Hotel, Strokestown (7pm – 9pm)
Tuesday 17th September – Sligo Park Hotel (7pm – 9pm)
Wednesday 18th September – Park Hotel, Kiltimagh (7pm – 9pm)
Wednesday 25th September – Athlone Springs Hotel (7pm – 9pm)
Monday 30th September – An Chroi Digital Hub, Tubbercurry (7pm – 9pm)
Saturday 5th October – Tully's Hotel, Castlerea (11am – 1pm)
You may attend any of the meetings. Please let the Parish Office know your choice of meeting & your email address by Thursday 11th September
